I remember reading a lot of Catherine McKinnon when I was studying Women's Studies at Uni. It is depressing that 18 years on from me starting that course there is so much repression and inequality still. We will just have to keep our voices loud, strong and united.

happy womens day!!

am a bit miffed that we have to share with pancake day,
I'd like to have a womens day where im not getting fatter inthe process, ,my mum was ranting Last night its tying women to the home on their day.

anyhoo, its a sunny day so enjoy whips out the shades

Happy Womens' Day to all of you. I'm celebrating with a big glass of cider wine and thinking about how best to use the rage to make some good changes in my own life. Started off by asking for a fat pay rise - time to start asking for what I am worth rather than being fobbed off and patted on the head.

Is there a 'can you be a feminist and enjoy cooking pancakes?' thread yet? ;)
