"Detrix Young, a Wal-Mart employee in Aiken, South Carolina, reports that she sat in a store-wide meeting where one of her female co-workers asked why the men in the store earned more than the women. One of the male managers answered that "men are working as the heads of their households, while women are just working for the sake of working."

Outrageous. I wonder how prevalent these opinions are outside of Walmart.

Haven't Walmart been sued for discrimination before?? you would think they would learn from their mistakes.

Ah did some quick Googling basically Walmart get sued for everything. Disability discrimination, Religious discrimination 6 women filed a gender discrimination lawsuit against Wal-Mart back in 2001 but Walmart fought it going through. The federal appeals court accepted however which is funny for Walmart as the federal court has said that this lawsuit applies to all women who have been worked there since 2001 if they file a lawsuit which is an estimated 1.5 million. Walmart sued in bulk
