Brace yourselves:

www.guardian.co.uk/education/2011/feb/15/lap-dancing-students-funding-studies

In looking for this article online, I found this one by the same person in 2008:

www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree/2008/dec/03/lap-dancing-choice-licensing

The Leeds study is the only study that Bristol City Council took any notice of when formulating their SEV policy, despite the reams of research we forwarded on. We were not happy!

I so agree Dittany. Only because it's practical it doesn't make it RIGHT. It's just SO WRONG on so many levels I don't know where to begin - so I won't!!

Unrulysun · 15/02/2011 12:35

This really does nothing helpful and supports that 'lap dancing is empowering, I'm exploiting the men' crap. And I agree with Dittany re The Guardian. :(

A quote from the 2008 article linked by JessinAvalon in the OP:

"For £12, she drops her knickers".

That says so much about the world we are living in now.
