M&S Ads

Went in M&S, Hull today to buy some sarnies.

Walked past 2 huge posters for valentines day. One had picture of a woman from behind wearing skimpy pants. Showed from her waist to knees (bum was the central subject).

If they were trying to advertise the knickers you couldn't even see them properly.

Other picture was top half of woman from the front in a bra. Where were the pictures of semi-naked men?

My 7 yr old daughter commented on it, she seemed shocked.

I don't suppose writing to M&S is going to have much effect is it. Just seen the post a while back regarding hooters.

Is it worth complaining to advertising standards?

Is the message 'if you want to make a total arse or a complete tit out of yourself, shop at M&S'? Confused

Well that sounds a bit off and if you are offended then yes complain. :)

The people of Bristol have M & S to thank for the new Hooters opening as they lease the land to Hooters. I contacted M & S who did not seem very customer focused. Hence, I refuse to buy from M & S. Vote with your feet!
