Is anyone watching this episode of the will-writing programme?

Basically, a farming family with 3 sons and 1 daughter - planning to cut daughter out of inheriting farm, might get a bit of money from elsewhere, and a Muslim family coming to terms with Sharia law and how it prescribes inheritance should be double for boys as for girls.

Thoughts, anyone? I am Shock.

Egads. This reminds me of a recent Canadian case, where a father had left all his estate to his son and nothing to his three daughters. The judge redistributed the entire estate to split it between the siblings. Apparently there is a law that this can be done if adequate provision is not made for a child or spouse. Not sure if a similar law exists in the UK.

Were the children adults? I think a minor has to be taken care of, not sure about adults though.
