Who does what

Currently watching the "who does what" programme on BBC2 -which analyses the domestic chores of two couples.

Dividing the jobs into "blue" and "pink" and sensing a strong misogynist sub-text.

"bra-burning act of feminism" - seriously some please help me work out why this is annoying me so much!

One of the things a friend of mine cited in her divorce petition, was the blue job/ pink job division. She quite rightly stated that the blue jobs were big and noticable and very infrequent and the pink jobs were small, several times a day and only noticed if they were not done.

Be warned menz who go in for this. It was accepted as one of his "unreasonable behaviours".

And the outcomes were all about what the women were going to change "A will come home from work earlier" "B will help with the gardening"

One husband even said that cleaning was the wife's hobby!

Honestly I am only posting to stop throwing something at the TV!
