Gah! House cleaning product ads!!

Sorry, sure it's been done to death, but BLOODY HOUSE CLEANING PRODUCT ADS! All with women simpering about how they can't get their house clean enough. Cillit Bang one has just been on, one of the worst of the bunch.

At least the Ariel ones at the moment have a man doing the laundry, but he's only doing his own, so I guess he's single and doesn't have a woman to do it for him, poor baby. When do we get to see ads with men cleaning for a family?

They are dreadful on all fronts. The women are OCD simps or Stepford nazis, the men are all shambling apes stabbing blankly at the buttons on the washing machine. 100% pure fail.

I fume at loads of ads, not just the cleaning ones. There seems to be a wave of Man-stuff. Man-crisps, Man-drinks, Man-tv. I suppose it's only time before there's Man-Daz or Man-lenor, because, you know, they can't be expected just to use the products as is. It all reeks of insecurity and I hate the pandering to mens vanity.

better a cleaning product ad than a cosmetics or haircare product ad.
(not that the cleaning product ads aren't awful, it's just all that 'because you're worth it' shtick is worse)

The adverts that make my blood boil are the Diet Coke ones with those freaky female puppets, they are like Thunderbirds puppets.

So sexist, one of their posters says that women should be 2 things, "fabulous and fabulous." Grrr!

Can someone explain to me what everyone is doing on their loo/ bathroom that there is such an obsession with scrubbing them? I do occasionally (in my more random moments) wonder if there?s some sort of mind control drug in these products to convince women to all sit and shut up..
