New N-Dubz song- views on women

Just seen this is trending on youtube. How can we progress whilst songs like this are being made

or maybe it's the way we watched our mothers try to change the world, work themselves into the ground and still fail to have equal pay that has made my generation decide "Fuck it, the easiest way to have an affluent life really is to stay thin and give good head"

I think there are many social circles where one is treated like a pariah for the crime of liking n-dubs :P

I'm not an N-Dubz fan at all, but it isn't just them to blame. I'd say that N-Dubs are just very much of his age and the pandering, quasi-sexiest lyrics are to be found in many popular songs.

Do not even get me started on the crimes of current music videos!!!

I'm only 26, but from a young age I realised what a load of balls music like that was. I've always favoured alternative music like L7, Ani Di Franco, Hole etc.

However, I do help out with a local youth group and can see how influenced the teens are by N-Dubs and that sort of crap.

While we're on this subject can I mention Strickland Banks (?) and the singles Stay Too Long and She Said.

Stay Too Long he sings about having a girlfriend, not bothering to answer his phone to her when he's out with his mates, meeting another girl and taking her to a hotel.

In She Said the girl he met falls in love with him and when he wants nothing to do with her falsely accuses him of rape. It annoys me so much when the statistics about real rape cases and the number of men who actually get prosecuted are so dire and he uses this as saying 'If women can't get what they want then they make this up'
