I was listening to my local BBC radio station today in the car.

It's BBC Radio Solent and it was about 17:50pm and there was a sports report about a rugby or football game for a team from Chinnor and the presenter said (NB - unfortunately no listen again on this prog so this will not be verbatum^):

"Yep Chinnor - you heard it right - it really is a place name and not just what you should do when yer wife is nagging you/chewing your ear off

I can't imagine that sexism would be seen as on the same level of racism.

After all, it's only about half of humanity isn't it.

Sent my complaint direct to the Radio station and to Ofcom. Will report back when I hear back.
