What's it going to be like from a feminist perspective?

Want to get the facts in early, after my horrible disappointment with the bastards libdems and their rapist-friendly policies last time.

Ed Miliband, the new leader of the Labour party was backed by women MPs for championing women?s rights.

As reported in WVoN two weeks ago, Ed received their backing in a letter to the Guardian after speaking out against inequality in their campaign.

They wrote: ?Ed insists that there should be no backtracking on promises made to women in the developing world. He knows they bear the brunt of the effects of the financial crisis, spiralling prices and the pressures imposed by climate change.?

Seems to be good news for feminism it 'seems' we shall see what happens.

Yeah you have to be careful with politicians they often say stuff they don't deliver best to wait and see he should at least attempt his goals.

I've also heard from colleagues who campaign against violence against women that various organisations wrote to all the candidates asking them about their policies in relation to violence against women and apparently Ed Milliband gave a good response.

Don't know the details of it but I know that they were pretty reassured by it.

Hes everything to everybody at the moment.

Not that it really matters, as Labour will be out of power for a decade anyway.

Focus on the libdems.
