Your comments are perfectly true, and what's really depressing is that it happens everywhere, all the time. The celeb magazines are among the worst offenders.

Peach - I think that this thread is not taking off because many of us are posting on the original thread - which in fairness is exactly the same.

She may well be a perfectly nice girl who's had a bad start in life, I was simply judging by how she presented herself ie lack of clothes.

Oh so is ASothwoldmummy now blaming Chloe for the prejudice of society towards single young mothers (and at the same time justifying her own attitudes towards them)?

And there was never indication form ASothwoldMummy that she may think Chloe may well be a perfectly nice girl who's had a bad start in life, she has questioned whether Chloe is fit to be a parent.

I have to say that what got me is that I am a single parent, youngish at 27, and yes, people do judge. And people like Chloe really don't help. By all means judge her, tbh she seems a very damaged, very un-self aware girl. But to even compare me, as a single mum, with her, just for the fact that my partner walked out on me?

she may be a buzz and a laugh and an excellent mum, she maybe ultra intelligent - this i do not know.

what i can judge is the aesthetics of what i see. i;m not so sure whats wrong with that.

I started the thread not knowing she was a prostitute, simply judging how she came across on x factor. I didn't say she was a bad person or a bad mother. I judged on looks alone (which we are ALL guilty of). I was also not the only person to say anything bad on that thread, I am only being targeted because I am the only one who has bothered to come along to the fiminism section.
