singular and collective failings by Essex police officers RE serious sexual assault

I wondered if anyone knew if this is the same case which was discussed on here a year or more ago? It rings a bell but am not sure?

Awful but not surprising. The authorities will use any excuse to discredit women who report sexual assualt/rape. Mental health, the jobs that she has done, her sexual history, clothing, drink/drugs etc. It's really frightening. Women just do not get justice and protection from sexual violence.

It makes me so mad that they are scrapping the inquiry into the police handling of rape, given how seriously awful this case was.
