We do have a big garden in a rural village, and they are everywhere in my garden. Clouds of them, I've never seen so many. It's beautiful.

I’m in Dublin, Ireland and I’ve never seen so many either, which I remarked to friends.
Not clouds of them though.

Clouds may be a slight exaggeration, but there is one narrow section of the garden with a buddleia bush at one end and every time I walk past about 15-20 fly up, which feels very cloud like.

ive stopped walking that way now so as not to disturb them.

I’m Scotland, near Edinburgh and am opposite sadly ☹️ have 2 good sized buddleia/butterfly bushes that in the past have been swarming with pollinators…not any more.

Yes we have a lot this year more colourful ones than usual, but still a lot of cabbage whites unfortunately for the veg plot.

We had loads this year, we have a lot of self-seeded marjoram and they seem to love it. Numbers definitely died down now, but I assume they have all done their thing now, reproduction wise!

Yes, loads here but the stars so far this year have been cinnabar moths and hummingbird hawk moths. I've left some ragwort in the corner for the cinnabars and planted some lady's bedstraw for the hummingbirds so hopefully they'll stick around. The hummingbirds are usually seasonal visitors but I read somewhere they're starting to overwinter in milder parts of the UK.

I was in Cornwall last month and I walked past a tree that must have had over 20 butterflies sunbathing on it! Never seen anything like it before!
