Bins for those with specs

I really struggle with binoculars with my glasses. They sit a bit far from my face and I just find it all awkward. I’m massively short sighted so need my specs.

Can anyone recommend some binoculars that are light and comfortable to use while wearing glasses?

I just have a strap on my glasses and slip them off to use my bins. DH does the same.

I hate taking my glasses off and my current binoculars don’t adjust enough to compensate for my bad eyes. I clearly need a chain and some better bins!

I don't think the bins exist that are satisfactory with glasses.

I struggled for ages. Bought some v expensive bins and they do work better. I’m not sure why but they do.

Sounds like I need to go and try some out.

My binoculars have bits that slide out or retract that help, is that standard though?

I use mine with my sunglasses all the time, and find it fine.

Mine are Leica 8x20 Trinovids I think.

DH is very shortsighted, he keeps his glasses on with bins. The eyepiece bit has to be in not out, I don’t need glasses and need the eyepieces out. We can both use each others bins appropriately adjusted - his are Zeiss, mine are Nikons plus we’ve a little lightweight pair - rspb branded but I think Opticon.

I wouldn’t buy binoculars or a scope without trying them. We got ours from the In Focus shop which used to be in a hide at wwt Martin Mere but isn’t now…somewhere like that where you can try them in a hide ideally.

I was able to walk out into the busy street to try mine - I felt quite silly 😄!
