novels like Jodi Picoult's?

I love Jodi Picoult's books but have pretty much read all of them now. Can anyone recommend an author who writes similar stuff?
Her novels are about families with moral/ ethical dilemmas, usually culminating in some sort of big court case. Grateful for any recommendations.

god, can't think at the mo. I have read many of hers...am almost bored with her but I just picked up her Second Glance only today and can't put it down!

Sorry, I know this post is a bit old but I was also thinking Diane Chamberlaine. I just read 'The Lost daughter' (thing its called something different in America) and it was excellent. Would thoroughly recommend.

diane chamberlin - she is fab - the lost daughter, the bay at midnight and she has one more, with another out in august!!! - each chapter is about a character, pure brilliance!!!!
