Well, I never get time to read so I ploughed through both of these whilst on holiday for a week.

They were fab, I have to say I was a bit suirprised as they're not my usual sort. Anyone else read either? what did you think?

I was surprised I enjoyed it but I did have to keep flicking back to the family tree at the front as hgoliday drinking kept getting me confused with all the names being the similar!

The other 'year of the roasted ear' is about a family who leave their greek home to go travelling in the far east.

I started Hotel Honalulu as well but only got about 1/3 through before we came home
