Hello all
We are currently on a massive donation drive so if anyone has any unwanted books (childrens/adult/non/fiction) we would love for you to donate them to your local Oxfam shop. I am the shop manager of the Oxfam Shop in Finchley and there will be lots of events going on for adults and children during Bookfest which is on from 3rd - 17th July. We also have lots of lovely books priced from 49p for children in store. Bookfest is in its second year as a celebration of Oxfam as the nation's largest second hand retail store.

If you have any questions, please call or email and I hope Mumsnet can get involved in the UKs biggest book donation drive and fight poverty!

Thank you

Fran

Sorry I don't approve of Oxfam's politics. I will however continue to help fight poverty in other ways.

Are all Oxfam shops selling books cheaper during Bookfest? It's an incentive to take some in if you can also pick up a different lot while you're there.

And bumping for you. Along the lines of, oh, do tell more.

What's with the politics, Em?
