Anyone read this yet? Is it as good (or as bad, depending on your POV) as Time Traveller's Wife? I can't wait to get it.

Not as good, imo. Not as fluent and doesn't seem to be as well thought out. It also seems to finish halfway though - it's as if AN ran out of ideas so wrapped it up with a quick 2 page epilogue.

I was a bit disappointed, tbh because I was expecting great things of her. Be interested to know what you think.

I didn't read the time travellers wife but I did read Her Fearful Symmetry and I really enjoyed it.

Maybe slightly far fetched but enjoyable all the same.

I actually enjoyed it more than time travellers wife.

It's a very different book from TTW, but I really enjoyed it

Found it very moving in parts, I think she's very good

I've just finished 'Her Fearful Symetry' and enjoyed the first three quarters of the book, but really disliked the last 100 or so pages.

I thought it was well written and had good characters (although I came to despise the majority of them in the end ). I especially liked the descriptions and 'workings' of the cemetery. P'haps the story just became to 'out there' for me. I want to say more, but don't want to spoil the the book for you. Read it, then we can discuss the totally pants ending!

I have a copy of TTW, but to be honest, I can't see myself getting 'round to reading it.

TTW is worth the effort. Took me a few attempts to get in to it but I loved it. I will read HFS when I have finished the 'millennium' trilogy
