I have just finished the trilogy and looking for some recommedations of books in a similar vein. Any ideas?

Good wasn't it? I couldn't wait to finish it, then felt really bereft! The Henning Mankell books about Wallander are really good - forget Ket Branagh, the books are much better. You could also look into another crime writer called Jo Nesbo - his books are excellent. Oh yes and Fingersmith by Sarah Waters - loved that.

thank you - will look out for them ! I didn't enjoy Fingersmith but read another of hers (the title escapes me) whch i thoroughly enjoyed! It's always good to have recommendations
