I got this book from the library and I must say I'm having trouble following the story. It does seem well written but I'm half way through now and all that has happened is the dog has reached the park. Does it get any better? I was hoping for a more exciting read.

Have you tried The Very Hungry Caterpiller> Be warned - there's a real twist at the end.

I'm not keen on horror to be honest.

Well avoid The Gruffalo then. Shudder - still have sleepless nights over that one.

Each Peach Pear Plum might be more your cup of tea? Bit of a crime mystery?

PokemeSidewards · 19/02/2010 15:23

Thanks Juney, I'll try that.

I do remember one horror where an old woman ate a fly. My god I was terrified. I never did get to the end of it though.

I've heard about the Gruffalo! No way I'm risking that one.

Have you tried 'Oh Dear'? Now that's a real cliffhanger and page turner....where will the egss be??

"Have you seen my potty?" is another crime investigation also.
