The Tortoise and the Hare by Elizabeth Jenkins

Just re-read this after about 20 years. So much more resonant now that I'm practically 'elderly' (EJ describes Blanche, 50yrs, as elderly)! I haven't read any of her other books though, has anyone else?

I recently read the Tortoise and the Hare Shandy, after someone on this forum recommended it. I enjoyed it -quite thought provoking, (I am also elderly). I'm going to try one of her others once I've got through all my Christmas reading.
