I remember reading his horror ones as a fifteen year old, and picked "To The Devil a Daughter" up at the library last week.
i'm sure it's very outdated now, but may make a start later.

I loved the devil rides out and read it when really young (for some bizarre reason it was in the childrens library . Haven't read any others though, let us know if it's any good.

I read both The Devil Rides Out and To the Devil a Daughter. Both extremely good, though prefer the first.

He was very much of his time. The blatant sexism is quite quaint to read.
