Lesley Pearse - Trust me (about the church children sent to Australia)

There are articles in the paper again this week, about the children sent to Australia in the 50's.

I read this book on holiday, picked up from the hotel bookshelf, and it is a story about two sisters, fictional, but based on these real events.

They were told lies to and sent to Australia, and had a terrible time. It was such a sad but compelling story to read - I really couldn't put it down.

Just wondered if anyone else had read it?

I read it about 4 years ago and cried all the way through.

I love Lesley Pearse- have you read any of her other books?

I read it ages ago, I think I've read all of her books and sobbed through the lot of them!
