Oooh, I'm going to read that next I ordered a Zoe Heller three-book pack from The Book People and have just read Notes On A Scandal - like her style.

Finished it today! Did like it, but think that Notes on a Scandal may have the edge for me. I like the unreliable narrator aspect.

Will look forward to seeing The Believers on the big screen - Helen Mirren for Audrey perhaps?

Really liked it. Thought it was very interesting on the subject of belief & the complexities around it. Is it scheduled to be a film then?

Glad I'm not the only one who believes she should be a casting director! I'm reading "Notes on a Scandal" now & looking forward to "The Believers" next. Like your point about unreliable narrators as I'm finding Barbara in turns hateful and yet believably human.
