I'm about to download my very first audiobook...i'm a bit baffled by it all...any suggestions for websites please?

When you stop midway through the book, does your MP3 player save your place?

my ipod does, but not if you fall asleep!

i get all mine from itunes

i tried audible.co.uk but they were more expensie and took ages to download

i love audio books, podcasts are free on itunes too, i am addicted to The Archers!

Have fun!

itunes is where I get mine.

My ipod/iphone usually remembers my place, but not always.

Audiobook adict here too - listening to first of the Northern Lights trilogy at the moment - having read the books and it is EXCELLENT.

May I also recommend The Moonstone and The Woman in Black?

Enjoy.

I use audible. I have a subscription of £15 a month for which I get to download any two books.

If you listen regularly then this is good value, but if you are buying one off books only then audible would seem an expensive option...

We use Audible. DH did a thing where we pay about £8/ month, and get one 'credit' each month which can be used to buy any book. This month I got Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell, the usual price of which was £50+!
