Anyone else read this? I've just finished it and loved it. Gripping, deeply creepy and satisfyingly complex. I have a gripe with the ending though...bit of a cop out, I thought.

Good for those who like ghost stories.

I have read it and loved it.
He has written another ghost story...Dark Echo or something...equally good.

I have read it too. I thought it was terrifying.

Ah, wondered if he'd written anything else... Amazon, here I come.

Oddly enough, the scariest bit for me was when Seaton went to visit the professor (who'd taken the girls into the house) and the faculty building was all covered in mould. That really freaked me out. Plus the ghost in spats in the men's loo. Ghosts in toilets are somehow scarier than ghosts in any other room
