I have deduced something about Ruth Rendell

In at least 2 of her books one of the characters likes to have a cup of cocoa before bed and wonders why more people don't do the same... I think this is incontrovertible evidence that Ruth Rendell herself likes cocoa before bed.

Similarly, there is always a big coffee scene in John Grisham books. I don't think he's a cocoa kind of guy.
