I remeber reading books at school but not really enjoying them as much as

Flowers in the Attic by Virginia Andrews

I loved this book and still get it out the loft for another read!

Secret seven and famous five at about the age of 7. Started reading then and have only missed one day reading sonce, when I was in labour with dd!

I read every day for at least an hour (for pleasure, read more than that for work)

Lots and lots of Enid Blyton etc.,

I was a precocious reader and read, One Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich at about 12, because my Dad had.

I also read a lot of AJ Cronin at the same age, because my Dad did.

I often read but have gaps normally in between books otherwise I am remebering charactors from the previous book.

I read that one at about 14 and bawled my eyes out. Found it in the local library and the read all of his others. Cancer Ward depressed the hell out of me!
