Brick Lane was good and I was delighted to get a lovely new hardback edition of her next book (In the Kitchen) for my birthday. I really did try with it but it has to rate as one of the least engaging books I 've ever read. I only finished it because it was a present and I kind of hoped for an interesting ending. Anyone else tried it...?
