A few years ago, pre-DC, i borrowed a novel from a colleague. I can't remember the title / author now but i really want to re-read it as i think it might help me understand DH. It's basically about a man with two young kids who pretends he is working away alot and instead starts up a double life as a single guy on the other side of London (until his wife finds out of course). (not that DH is leading a double life as a single child-free guy but i think he might try if he could )
