I loved it, would like to know just how historically accurate it is.

I've just finished reading another of her books - 'the blood red sky' which I couldn't put down or stop telling people about (I think it was even better), and noticed mention of a sequel to the russian concubine which I definately want to read.

please read it and tell me what you think!

Oh god, Blood Red Sky is in my top 10 Most Badly Written Books Ever. Even reading it one month post-partum with my scrambled baby brain couldn't disguise the awfulness of it.

Sorry motherducky!

Sorry to disagree cyteen but whilst it wasn't the best written i did enjoy them both - that said I would be hard pushed to tell you much about the plot now.

I was disappointed by The Russian Concubine, especially since she isn't a concubine.
