Hmmm. I started reading this and my ds "borrowed" it, took it to school, where it went missing.

I don't have a library card at the moment and have been too demoralised to buy it again.

What was it about? I'm haunted by the thought that it might have been v. unsuitable for ds and that I may have, inadvertently, been an unfit mother.
