The Luminous Life of Lily Aphrodite - have you read it?

I'm about two thirds of the way through and really enjoying it. Story of a Berlin orphan and how she becomes a big movie star. Not a 'ife changing' book or anything but beautifully told. Grabbed it at the airport for a holiday read and v pleased I did! What did you think?

This book is on my 'to be read' pile - it has moved up to the top now! Sounds like my kind of read

I have 30 pages left to read - reading it for bookclub. I enjoyed it at the beginning but have found the second half a bit 'meh'. But admittedly, Ihave a 6 week old so possibly not concentrating on it as much as I could. A friend I saw today (in same bookclub) was raving about it so maybe its just me.

Love this book. I bought my own from Amazon after I kept renewing a library copy for the third time.
