I really enjoyed that book.

Let us know if the film is any good.

i really enjoyed the book - had no idea it had been made into a film!!

was it any good???

dizzydixies · 25/04/2009 06:51

was that the one with the Dr who gave away the child to the nurse? I had to say I was expecting more of it when I read it - I felt it didn't really go anywhere. Was the film better?

alicecrail · 25/04/2009 07:25

I thought the book was going to be better than it was. It would probably work better as a film though

i read the book and loved it, but was disappointed by the film (was on virgin over xmas) bit of a shame really

I was disappointed by the book, it seemed to lack depth. And I didn't see the point of the plot - particularly towards the end when the French boyfriend was introduced.

I think the book started so well and then just went to pot really.
