Helen Black:anyone read her?

I'm half way through "A place of safety" at the moment. Can't decide if this is really good or TV adaptation territory. Anyone read her other book, or this one (but don't spoil this one!)

finished it now but still don't know what I think about it. Anyone else read it?

Should I just give up on this thread?

I had a look at Amazon and am quite intrigued by the description of her two books about a solicitor dealing with family law cases, particularly as one is about asylum issues. I really don't need to find more books I want to read but might see if the library has any - though the library branch at work is much better than my local one for new books.
