My Sister's Keeper - you need to read this book!

Pickerd this up in ASDA out of idle curiosity and having nothing to read. It was the most incredible book - about a girl who is born to save her sister's life and at the age of 13 sues her parents for medical emancipation. I thought it would be fairly stereotypical when I got home and read the blurb properly - but it wasn't. It was very thought provoking and very unexpected. I read the last 2 chapters in the bath, which was just as well because by then I was howling! This doesn't give anything away. So, buy it and enjoy!

I read it too and couldn't put it down. There were a couple of book threads running a while ago (3 weeks ish) discussing how good this was also!

It is excellent. I think I read it cos someone on here recommended it. I leant it out as soon as I finished.

loved it.... am reading "a mothers story" by Sara Payne atm, its very sad seeing a murder of your child through a mother's eyes...

Finished this on Saturday, after seeing this or wouldn't have bought it, would recommend it. Tears dripping at the end!
