me
I haven't read them for years though.

Oh yes - of the books anyway- I wasn't too keen on the TV series, despite Derek Jacobi - they just changed too much for my liking.

I have them all in paperback except A Rare Benedictine, which is hardback, but they've been so well-read a lot of them are splitting down the back. so I want to get new copies.

I think my favourite is One Corpse Too Many, butg I'm also very fond of Dead Man's Ransom & The Pilgrim of Hate

Oh, I loved the Pilgrim of Hate - the moment when Cadfael is standing at St. Winifred's altar and turns and sees Olivier come in with Hugh... oh oh oh!!! [sappy emoticon]

Me too but I have to go and make dinner. I love them. I loved them as audio books whilst running. Derek Jacobi was fab.

Yes, that's the bit I like too, Jacksmama. And the bit in Penance when he finds him in the tower.....
