Because I hated the sugary sappiness of the first one she did, but a friend got me this for christmas. It's just a copy of trading places/ meet joe black isn't it - and the SPOILER ALERT lecture at the end? How does this stuff get printed?

I've just had this for christmas and read it i've found it quite thought provoking and quite glad I live my life the way I do tbh.

It was full of cliche's but that's what made it something you could identify with imo it's a typical story but I liked the way she worded it and I liked Gabe and I knew the point but was still irritated by the ending why go to the effort of helping him so much then let him do what he did? I did like the way he went and saw his family because that is what you would do if you could iywim.

I hated Gabe - Calling him Gabriel and then hinting he is death? Gabriel announced the birth of Jesus, and I don't think the author was paralleling some rebirth experience, I think it was just a lazy biblical reference (and no, I am not churchy). The ending was so rubbish (am ranting now!) - that Jessica and her hisband - what was the point of dhoving that in?
