....it is a page turner
still not entirely convinced by some of his characterisation but the narrator is a sympathetic lead and lots of the book quite entertaining ith some good stuff
the Judson character dealt with a bit cursorily really considering his importance
but overall well worth reading in a light and gripping way, more conventioinal than The Woman in the Fifth which I also rated as a good read
don't bother with A Special relationship tho as it is pants
