Anyone else read this?
My dad lent it to me. Fascinating, odd, frustrating and showed up just how ignorant I am about matters scientific.
If anyone has read this can you tell me what the link was, if any, between his first obession with the perpetuum mobile and the second with red mercury. Or was there no link. It seemed so odd that the story changed focus so massively half way through.
