Have you read anything else by Anne Tyler? I like all her books.

It is good, in an odd way - all the characters are oddballs but likeable too. I enjoyed it and found it an easy read.

Anne Tyler is generally very good

I love Ann Tyler novels - they're completely absorbing but never too taxing.

I like some better than others. I think the good ones are:

Dinner at the Homesick Restaurant
Ladder of Years
Back when we were grownups
Breathing Lessons

I think my favourite is Ladder of Years.

I'm not actually a big fan of Anne Tyler, but I really liked The Accidental Tourist.
