Life on the edge: meet the man who walked around the UK | Walking | The Guardian https://share.google/nGQ74Gz3PIinSQhFE
Has anyone read this book? It's last month's book group read but I hadn't started it and arrived at book group today with everyone else having read it and heavily slating it. The whole discussion was about how terrible it is, how it's all a pack of lies and they don't believe a word and he's a Walter Mitty and it's all about him having problems with going to the toilet. In fact the whole book group meeting was pointless with everyone giggling about it and I felt like I'd walked in on a private joke.
Anyone else read it please or has anything to say?
