Waiting for Book Mail

I'm waiting for a book parcel from Amazon.

It contains Night Terrors: The Ghost Stories of E.F. Benson. I've bought it because I love his Mapp and Lucia and this seems very different. It's over 700 pp, so I'm hoping I'll love at least one of them!

Is anyone else waiting for, or had a book parcel this weekend and what was in it?

I recently picked up Water Moon by Samantha Sotto and it was wonderful. Like a cosy fantastical dream but with a real tug on the heart at the end.

I also recently signed up to Illumicrate, so have A Snake among Swans by Hannah Kaner to read as well.

I'm waiting for 'May We Feed The King' by Rebecca Perry

It's Waterstone's book of the month and I so wish I had bought it when I saw it there. I've got to wait until next Thursday for it to be delivered

I have ordered, May We Feed the King from the library, @AustenitesUnite. There are four people in front of me in the queue and it isn't as exciting as waiting for a book to arrive via a van!

Does Waterstones usually take days to deliver?

Unfortunately & reluctantly I've had to order it from Amazon as I can't get to Waterstone's very often. I'm still kicking myself for not buying it when I first saw it!!!

I saw it in Toppings yesterday and while I had a cup of tea, I worked out that if each one kept it for the full three weeks, I would be waiting for three months.

So, that decided it although it will probably be two months before I get around to reading it.😃
