The women by Kristin Hannah ? I have enjoyed all of her books however this was the first I came across. I absolutely loved lessons in chemistry.

The World According to Gaap by John Irving. A similar narrative style to the brilliant Lessons in Chemistry

The Names by Florence Knapp. I think you’d 100% enjoy this if you enjoyed Lessons in Chemistry.

Or put into ChatGPT the most favourite books you read and he (mine is male) will suggest some good options.

I loved lessons in chemistry and couldn’t put The Names by Florence Knapp down- so would agree with pp.

The Safekeep by Yale van der Wouden is slightly different but I also really enjoyed

The same person who loaned me Lessons in Chemistry also passed on The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid which I really liked.

Try ‘A Single Thread’ by Tracy Chevalier. I loved it and I loved Lessons in Chemistry too.

I am going to recommend the Correspondent by Virginia Evans- it's brilliant. (I also loved Lessons in Chemistry).
