baby tips for grandparents

So,

Was it written by a pfdad?
Who will buy this for their parents or (god forbid) mil and NOT get it back shoved down your throat?

I bought it for MIL and it was received in the humour it was intended. It's funny!

Simon Brett is a humourous writer so it's meant to be a bit of a joke

Sheila Kitzinger wrote a book for grandmothers. I sent it to a relative when her first grandchild was born and she was pleased.

weeelll, I wouldn't buy it for my grandparents (have never bought any of those 'how to' books about parenting.

But I was amazed at how little my mum seemed to remember about babies (despite having had two of her own way back in the mists of time), so maybe she would have quite liked it!

and that's not even mentioning my dad of course, who barely knew one end of dd from the other...

No, definitely not. Madonna's The English Roses is the most unnecessary book ever written.

I have nightmares about a thread like this being about my book (huge sigh of relief that it isn't)!

I really would love to buy something like this for MIL but daren't...
