following on from my earlier thread, the only unread book i have left in the house is 'The Mummy Diaries' by Rachel Johnson do i bin it or read it??

I know she has had a slating on here and i've never read anything by her not even her articles

The book was bought as a present and never really appealed to me

so is it any good or complete tosh and i should watch tv instead?

Could you not read the first couple of pages & see if you like it?

the title is grisly and you will probably end up reading it just because you've started it and then you will hate yourself for wasting your time!

its terrible. 'DD' bought it for me for her first christmas or something because it was about a Mummy (vomit emoticon). I read it - it took milliseconds and was dreadful. Although being a sentimental old fool I still have it on my bookcase.
