Comforting Book Recs

signed off with WRS and not in a good place. Please recommend some nice comforting books to distract me. I usually love thrillers - Lisa Jewell, Colleen Hoover etc and I just read Night Road by Kristin Hannah which I was ambiguous about, but devoured it.
I just don’t think I can cope with anything too dark and anxiety inducing atm. And nothing where the protagonist suffers, like Hamnet or The Marriage Portrait. Adored them both but they were too sad!

I am also on the look out for this type of book so following this thread. If I can think of anything that I’ve read previously I’ll come back to recommend.

Georgette Heyer

Miss Read Village School et al
D E Stevenson, especially the Mrs Tim books. Family life and light romance.
Agatha Christie - murder mysteries, but not too dark, and often some humour - the ones featuring Mrs Oliver, for example
Patricia Wentworth's Miss Silver mysteries - cosy and undemanding

Classic children's novels - Arthur Ransome for example

ETA My Family and Other Animals, Gerald Durrell.

How about listening to Stephen Fry read Sherlock Holmes? Agatha Christie is also great on audiobook.
