If so, can I ask you to check something in the book? I left my copy on holiday and something's really bugging me.

Thanks

I read the book about a month ago and have it somewhere - ask away...

Oh pink blossom thank you. Around the end of the book, when she has escaped, she talks about taking her son Harrison (the very ill one) to a chiropractor who is trained in a particular type of massage. The name of the massage begins with a K I think, and its about retraining the nerves to send messages to the brain (or something along those lines).

I'd really like the name of this type of massage, please, as I'd like to research it more.

Thank you so much, pinkblossom, that would be really helpful

Hi Moodlum

It is called "Feldenkrais massage which is based on a belief that new connections can be formed between brain and body that can help retrain the nervous system." The therapist was called Lee Bird.

Hope this helps - give me a shout if you need me to check anything else!!

I'm currently reading this, and so far I;m shocked that people still live like this. I mean, 'silent birth', honouring your husband - this is really an eye opener.
