The Names by Florence Knapp - have you read it?

I can’t recommend this book enough. It’s a kind of Sliding Doors scenario.

Basically a mum attends the registry office undecided on which of 3 names to give her baby boy. The story then splits in 3 based on each name, revisiting the family every 7 years.

I would live to discuss this with people that have read it as I’m hesitant to recommend it to anyone I know with very young children as it’s quite heart wrenching at times.

Yes! I loved it too! Such a clever premise and beautifully executed.

I might read it again but read each “name” in its entirety rather than each chapter by age. I wonder if that will give me a different perspective?
