Read a book review a few weeks ago. Can't remember if Sunday Times or Irish Examiner[Sat].
It is about a coule in London[outskirts] expecting first child, highish mortgage, trying to do the 'right' thing.I think it has twists and turns but can't remember what it is called or who it is by.I know my description is awful. But does anyone know what the heck the book is?
It is driving me crazy.

is it a chick lit type book? or a more heavyweight kind of thing?

Any other clues at all?

Doobydoo · 20/05/2008 19:26

I don't think it is chicklit. Not particularly heavyweight either..and is not by any of those Farrel authors and that type.I think the review mentioned thecouple heading towards the inevitable.Which I take to mean something awful happens.

Doobydoo · 20/05/2008 19:49

No...bum.But there are a few on there I would like to read
Maybe I read it in The Irish Examiner...but was sure it was The Times.Prob 3 weeks ago.I have even been through recycling but the Culture sections from 3 and 4 weeks ago have gone.

Can you remember whether it was hardback or paperback?

Have you tried posting in the Abe BookSleuth forums? People can be v helpful on there at finding books from the slenderest of clues.

Doobydoo · 21/05/2008 11:45

Think it was paperback. Will check that site out.Thankyou
